Cranberry Twp., PA – Communifax, recently won an award in a national competition sponsored by a printing industry trade magazine.
Communifax won an Award of Excellence in the Self Promotion category of the 2005 Print Excellence And Knowledge (PEAK) competition sponsored by Print Solutions Magazine, which is published by the Document Management Industries Association (DMIA), Alexandria, VA. The awards were presented at DMIA's annual Print Solutions Conference & Expo, a national trade show held this year Oct. 18-20 in Orlando, FL. For details about the conference go to www.printsolutionsshow.com.
The contest, which drew more than 200 entries from North America and Europe, recognizes the work of firms that stress adding value to the print-related products and services they provide customers.
A DMIA member since its founding in 1988, Communifax brings a great deal of experience in creating and executing programs that positively impact its clients' business performances—and their bottom line. ”We're honored,” Jeffrey Battin, Chairman & Founder said. ”Lots of marketing companies claim they have solutions for customers. It's something else when independent industry experts verify it.”
Print Solutions (www.printsolutionsmag.com) is an award-winning monthly magazine with 14,000 subscribers who design, manufacture and distribute printed products of all kinds. DMIA (www.dmia.org), the publisher of the magazine, is a not-for-profit trade association that has served printing sales professionals for more than 50 years with outstanding publications and Web services, trade expositions and education.
“Winning a PEAK Award signifies a sharp focus on solving customer problems or improving a customer's business,” says Peter Colaianni, CAE, DMIA’s executive vice president. “PEAK awards are won by companies that add value to the products they sell.”
The panel of industry experts who judged the contest included:
John Leininger, professor in the Department of Graphic Communications at Clemson University
Joe Schwan, who held top executive positions at Wallace Computer Services and Standard Register until his retirement in 2001
