Communifax Wins Two American Graphic Design Awards
November 7, 2007 – Pittsburgh, PA– Communifax Corporation is pleased to announce that it recently won two awards from the American Graphic Design Awards competition. The Pittsburgh-based specialty marketing services company received awards in the Corporate Branding Promotions category.
“Communifax is excited to receive these awards from the American Graphic Design Awards competition,” said Jeff Battin, Chairman and Founder of Communifax. “Our artists and strategic marketing teams work hard to develop promotional materials for our clients that are fresh and exciting, and that resonate with both our clients and their target audiences,” Battin continued. “These recognitions from the American Graphic Design Awards are proof that we are accomplishing that goal,” said Battin.
Communifax developed the winning entries for a large multi-media entertainment retail chain. Both entries were designed to help increase store and consumer participation in the company’s recent instant win game. One entry was a packet of information that was designed to educate store owners and personnel about the promotion and how to generate excitement about it in the store. The other winning entry was designed as a direct participation piece for consumers, with instructions to visit the company’s Web site to determine their win-loss status.
Stores and consumers responded positively to the promotion, which generated an “opt-in” rate of nearly 45 percent. The entertainment chain confirmed that the promotion helped bolster traffic to the company’s Web site. More than 97 percent of consumers who registered with the site completed the game and received offers for retail coupons, and more than 55 percent of participants played the game more than once. All of this is evidence that the promotion was successful and that the materials resonated with both in-store personnel and consumers.
