Communifax® is a direct and interactive marketing agency, established in 1988
and located in Western Pennsylvania.
MARKETING OBJECTIVE:
• Demonstrate an off-to-online marketing strategy
• Attract potential clients to their services
MARKETING INITIATIVE:
Communifax created "The Works" Instant Win Game targeted to marketing
professionals to show an off-to-online experience and educate prospects on
how Communifax can help build an opt-in prospect and customer database.
The three-dimensional direct mail piece was sent to marketing professionals
in various industries and directed recipients to visit a promotional site, which
showed the steps to take in an off-to-online site, using pre-populated fields,
dynamic game pieces and exciting prizes. Each page of the promotional site
educated the player on the functionality and benefits of conducting such a
promotion.
RESULTS:
• To date, over 9,500 pizza boxes have been sent out and over 1,000
recipients have played the game, resulting in an astonishing double-digit
response rate of over 11%.
• With the information and contacts obtained through this promotional
campaign, Communifax has been able to land several new clients
nationwide.
